Ein Prosit!

Come enjoy a fun-filled day at Renfrew’s Fifth Annual Oktoberfest! We’re moving this seasonal favorite to our beautiful historic farmstead to take full advantage of the scenic views and unique period setting.  As always, this traditional event will have a distinctive Renfrew feel as we honor the German roots of the original family that worked this land. With our new format, now it’s fun for the whole family with a one-of-a-kind celebration of history and the harvest. Your admission includes entry into the festival featuring musical entertainment by Die Shippensburg Blaskapelle German Bland, tours of the Royer* and Fahnestock Houses, living history demonstrations, retail and food vendors, silent auction, games, and so much more! Relax in our fenced, tented Beer Garden and sample local craft beer, wine, and cider offerings. With so much to do, you’re bound to have a great time! Show your support for Renfrew’s German heritage as we celebrate Oktoberfest together.
*Please note that both the Museum House and Visitors Center will be open from 1:00pm to 4:00pm only. Complimentary tours depart on the hour at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm and are included with your Oktoberfest admission. Fahnestock House will be open until dusk.
