Holiday Wreath Making Workshop

A hands-on-history and holiday experience!

Thursday, December 18th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM

Spaces Remaining: 20

Registration: $50.00

Registration for Renfrew Members: $40.00

Come celebrate the joy of togetherness, creativity, and holiday cheer at Renfrew — where history, tradition, and festive fun come together! Enjoy the season’s natural beauty and a holiday atmosphere complete with the scent of evergreens in the air, hot chocolate, and period music. Create lasting memories with loved ones, and take home a fresh, fragrant wreath to brighten your home for the holidays!

Using an abundant selection of fresh winter greens responsibly harvested by Renfrew staff—including fragrant pine, cedar, and holly—you’ll design a one-of-a-kind wreath that captures the beauty of the season. Participants will be provided with a wire frame and all the materials needed to create a traditional holiday wreath inspired by the rustic simplicity of our historic Pennsylvania German farmstead. Add your own creative touch with pinecones, berries, ribbons, and other accents. Our friendly instructors will guide you through every step, making this a fun and relaxing experience for all ages — no crafting experience required!

Each registration includes a brief walk through the beautifully decorated Royer Museum House for inspiration, all crafting materials, light refreshments, and the workshop component!

Participants should plan to bring their own pair of wire cutters, small pruners, and garden gloves. We also recommend bringing a portable seat cushion.

Workshop takes place in the Wagon Shed Room of the Visitors Center, located at 1010 East Main Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268.

Registration is per person/attendee. This is a family-friendly event, with workshop participation available for attendees ages 10 and up. Parent/guardian supervision is needed for participants 16 and under. This class is limited to 20 participants. Pre-registration required by 4:00PM on December 16,  2025.

We look forward to hosting you for this exciting workshop to prepare for the holiday season!
