Jaw Harp

Known by many different names, the jaw harp instrument is a flexible metal reed attached to a metal frame.  The frame is held firmly against the performers mouth and the reed is plucked.  Different tones can be created by  changing the shape of the mouth, moving the tongue as well as varying breathing techniques.  The teeth must be parted sufficiently for the reed to vibrate freely.  endless rhythms and melodies can be produced for hours of fun.  Measures 2 1/2″ W x 4″ L
