Renfrew Museum and Park launched our Tea & Tour program in December 2017, and it’s been a “hot” tour option with groups in the Tri-State area.
Emma Nicodemus, the last private owner of the property, loved to entertain and invite guests into her home. Renfrew Museum is proud to carry on that tradition.
Volunteers dressed in period clothes serve a delicious lunch provided by a local caterer in addition to piping hot teas purchased from a local coffee shop in our Wagon Shed Room.
The most unique part of the experience is that your sandwiches and savories are plated on Emma’s glass dishes and the soups/salads are served in her glass cups.
Farmstead Teas & Tours are scheduled Monday-Friday and run for about 2.5 hours, usually from 11:30am to 2:00pm. Two types of hot tea are served along with a filling lunch consisting of soup, assorted breads, scone, salad, four tea half sandwiches, and a plate of desserts. We have established relationships with two local businesses that proudly provide our flavorful food and loose leaf tea to our guests. Our tea menu changes seasonally and accommodations can be made for dietary needs. Please call us to reserve your date for this special experience or complete the inquiry form below.
