Pottery Fest

Saturday, September 18 - from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. join the Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies, the Mont Alto Pottery Guild and Renfrew Museum and Park for the sixth annual Cumberland Valley Pottery Festival. Potters include: Eve Adkins, Karen Arrington, Mary Ashe-Mahr, Michael Bannon, Judy Hoffman Bolton, Sara Breed, Nickole Bricker, Janine Davis, Erin Delaney, Jo Dunn, Colton Duvall, Kristin Fay-Taylor, Laurie Gamble, David Goldstein, Jack Handshaw, Bob Hughes, Sara Knox, Tom McFarland, Michael McIntyre, Michael Minster, Kumiko Nuss, Valerie Parsons, Annamarie Poole, Jackie Shaw, James Smith, Kathy Sortore, Christine Tosten-Souders, Dan Wiley, Kirk Wishard and Julia Wright. Pottery Sales and demonstrations- a silent auction of artists; donated works- pottery workshops 11:00-3:00- foodstand (grilled foods, baked goods, hot and cold drinks- live music by The Ladies in The Parlor (noon - 3:30) FREE admission. House tours available for regular admission fees.
Brick End BarnsPresentation
Monday, September 20- at 7:00 p.m. in the Visitor Center will be a presentation on brick end barns of Franklin County with photographer Phil Schaff and author Dianna Heim. Mr. Schaff will have photos of all the brick end barns in Franklin County. Ms. Heim has written a book on the history of the barns. Admission is FREE. Join us for this special event!
Pumpkin Fest

Saturday, October 16 from 11:00a.m. until 4:00 p.m. the Pumpkin Fest
will bring together the Renfrew Museum and Park, and the Renfrew Institute
for an annual joint fund-raiser. More details as they become

Christmas at Renfrew

Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4 brings the ever-popular Christmas at Renfrew. A pleasant way to help you celebrate the holiday season. More details later. FREE!

Blue Star
Families

Until September 6 all active duty military personnel from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard and up to five family members will be given free admission to Renfrew Museum with an identification card with the insignia of the Geneva Convention Common Access Card, CAC or DOD forms 1173 or 1173.1. This is part of the Blue Star Museum program sponsored by the National Endowments for the Arts.
Museum Day

On Saturday, Sept. 25 in conjunction with with Smithsonian Magazine, free admittance to Renfrew Museum with a Museum Day ticket, all details at Museum Day 2010/Smithsonian .com, as part of over 1200 museum participation visitation program.
